Blocked in China

I was always one of those people who refused to ever get a blog. I will admit, I did occasionally "creep" other blogs. They were always clever, creative, and funny. I've never felt I was good at writing and I felt intimidated by the fact that everyone would be reading what I wrote. All of my best friends are really into blogging and after much reluctance I finally got a blog before I left to China. I thought it would be a really good way for my friends and family to see what I was up to. I've never been good at keeping a journal so I thought blogging would be a good way to record all of my crazy experiences. I got to China and I discovered that there had been a lot of protest against the government. To gain control, the government blocked facebook, youtube, and any blogging site. People were organizing riots over such websites. Any website that is used to express thoughts and opinions is blocked. Well, that kind of killed my fabulous blogging idea. I tried to use different proxies, but it didn't really work. I've resulted to e-mailing myself different posts. I'm hoping this works and we'll see how long I keep this up. Just for the record, I have been in China for two months now and I have LOTS of crazy stories and experiences. Don't judge if I put up a million posts at once. I've got some serious catching up to do!
